Monrovia, South Pasadena still tied for soccer lead

SOUTH PASADENA >> Alfredo Maciel saved a likely Rio Hondo League boys soccer championship. So did Sam Headley-Brill.

Both players came up with big saves in the second half and Monrovia and South Pasadena played to a 1-1 tie. If both win out or both tie in Thursday’s regular- season finales, they will be league co-champions.
