San Gabriel Mission 10, Flintridge Prep 9 — Angelique Ramos had five strikeouts and went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Pioneers (2-1) in a nonleague win. Tristen Oliva had a triple for San Gabriel Mission. Maia Cohen went 2-for-3 with a double, triple and two RBIs and Therese Oshiro struck out seven and went 2-for-5 for Flintridge Prep.
Boys golf
Pasadena Poly 205, South Pasadena 251 — The Panthers (1-0) had the top four finishers of the day at Almansor Golf Course to defeat the Tigers (0-1). Nick Foker led the way with a 37, Daniel Zhu shot a 39, Manny Medrano shot 41 and Andrew Feldmeth shot a 43.
Boys volleyball
Oakwood 3, Pasadena Poly 0 — The Panthers got swept in a 26-24, 25-20, 25-19 nonleague loss.
Boys tennis
Arcadia 18, Pasadena 0 — Teams of Cibi Pari and Ken Nakamine and Brian Kim and Stanley Lim swept in doubles for the Apaches (3-0, 3-0) in a Pacific League victory.
Temple City 17, San Gabriel 1 — Brian Wei, Jeffrey Li and Jimmy Xu swept in singles to lead the Rams (3-0) to the nonleague win. In doubles play David Brackbill and Jun Yu and Hugh Zhang and Spencer Chen went 3-0 for Temple City.
