Mayfield 3, Firebaugh 0 — Ellie Watkins had 30 assists and Aife Chow had 12 digs for the Cubs (6-0, 2-0) in a 25-8, 25-10, 25-8 Prep League victory.

Girls tennis
Arcadia 17, Crescenta Valley 1 — Angela Qiu swept in singles and the team of Tina Yueh and Sunny Ng swept in doubles for the Apaches (4-0) in a nonleague victory.
Pasadena Poly 11, Westridge 7 — The team of Sami Collins and Tara Adarkar swept in doubles and Shalini Haupt swept in singles to lead the Panthers (2-0, 1-0) to their first Prep League victory.
Alhambra 9, Temple City 9 (Alhmabra won in games 84-76) — Tiffany Chan swept in singles and Kareena Yang and Gaby Dondonay won two in singles to lead the Moors (4-1) to the nonleague win.

Boys water polo
Pasadena 16, La Salle 10 — Chance Woods had six goals and goalie Alexander Gallagher had three saves for the Bulldogs (5-4) in a nonleague win. Also contributing to Pasadena’s win were, Nick Whiting, Jimmy Annes, Ismar Sarac and Brock Vance who each scored twice. Goalie Jackson Ratkovich had five saves and Hunter Xue had four goals for La Salle (1-4).
