Olympic League Prelims — Maranatha’s Hailey McNall and Angela Hsieh swept in singles and the team of Natalie Yee and Sarah Rutzen swept in doubles to advance to the Olympic League finals.
Alhambra 14, Montebello 4 — Tiffany Chan, Karenna Yang and Gaby Dondonay swept in singles to lead the Moors (14-1-1, 8-0) to the Almont League win.
Chadwick 12, Pasadena Poly 6 — The teams of Sami Collins and Tara Adarkar and Shalini Haupt and Paulina Gavrilov swept in doubles for the Panthers (6-7, 4-5) in a Prep League loss.

La Habra 3, Fullerton 0 — Casey Lunceford had 25 assists and five aces and Kim Gamez registered 10 kills for the Highlanders (4-4) in a 25-11, 25-14, 25-11 Freeway League victory. Marisa Spear had eight kills, Taylor Richter added six kills and Kiya McDussie had 10 digs for La Habra.
Maranatha 3, Whittier Christian 2 — Kendall Schmedes had 22 kills, 19 digs and two blocks and Nicole Rodriguez had 65 digs for the visiting Minutemen (17-10,4-2) in a 27-25, 25-16, 21-25, 21-25, 15-11 Olympic League victory. Maranatha’s Emily Leung had 53 assists and Hannah Beckler had 20 kills.

Del Rey League — La Salle’s Abby Siracusa defeated Bishop Montgomery’s Annie Elming, 6-0, 6-1 to advance to the semifinals tomorrow.

Pacific League Preliminaries — Michelle Deng, Anna Qiu and Lauren Ko swept in singles to advance to the semifinals tomorrow. Also, the teams of Tina Yueh – Sunny Ng, Angelica Zhou – Rachelle Yang, and Sydney Tran – Aubrie Weissbuch will advance to the semifinals.

The Flintridge Sacred Heart volleyball team remained atop the San Gabriel Valley Newspaper’s Top 25 poll, but the way the season is going, the Tologs will need big victories to remain there. Westridge made its biggest move in the the poll, jumping nine spots with its five-game victory over Mayfield. Four previously unranked teams, including newcomers Wilson and Pioneer, joined the Top 25.
