Alhambra 16, Schurr 2 — Tiffany Chan, Karenna Yang and Gabby Dondonay swept in singles and the team of Amy Kim and May Win swept in doubles to lead the Moors (13-1-1, 7-0) to the Almont League victory.
La Canada 11, Pasadena Poly 7 — Sophie McKenzie swept in singles and the team of Emily Matuska and Sharayse Watanabe swept in doubles for the Spartans in a nonleague victory. Shalini Haupt won two in singles and the team of Sami Collins and Tara Adarkar won two in doubles for Pasadena Poly (6-6, 4-4).
Bishop Montgomery 13, La Salle 5 — Abby Siracusa won two in singles for La Salle (5-7, 5-11) in a Del Rey League loss. Siracusa finished the regular season 42-6 overall.

Boys water polo
Burroughs 9, Arcadia 6 — Goalie Sebastian Petcu had 13 saves and Matthew Garcia and Royal Gong each scored twice for the Apaches (13-9, 3-2) in a Pacific League loss.

Girls volleyball
Flintridge Sacred Heart 3, La Salle 0 — Kayla Lund had 14 kills and 17 digs and Ellis DeJardin had eight kills and 10 digs for the Tologs (19-7, 4-2) in a 25-17, 25-13, 25-12 nonleague win.
La Habra 3, Buena Park 0 — Kimberly Gambz had six kills and Casey Lunceford had six kills and 23 assists for the Highlanders (3-3) in a 25-13, 25-7, 25-14 Freeway League win. Marisa Spear had six kills and four assists, Taylor Hernandez and Taylor Richter each had five kills for La Habra.

Arcadia 17, Hoover 1 — Angela Qiu and Lauren Ko swept in singles for the Apaches (16-0,11-0) in a Pacific League victory.
La Salle 13, Pomona Catholic 5 — Abby Siracusa and Julia Jones swept in singles for the Lancers (5-10, 5-6) in a Del Rey League win.
Maranatha 11, Whittier Christian 7 — Hailey McNall, Angela Hsieh and Natalie Orphali swept in singles to lead the Minutemen (12-3, 8-0) to the Olympic League title.
Alhambra 12, Mark Keppel 6 — Tiffany Chan swept in singles and the team of Amy Kim and May Win swept in doubles to lead the Moors (12-1-1, 6-0) to clinch the Almont League title. Also contributing to Alhambra’s win were Karenna Yang and Gaby Dondonay, who each won two in singles and the team of Emily Tran and Martina Chan, who won two in doubles.

Boys water polo
Arcadia 13, Glendale 6 — Goalie Sebastian Petcu had 16 saves and Royal Gong had four goals for the Apaches (13-8, 3-1) in a Pacific League victory. Matthew Garcia registered three goals and Thomas Gao and Blake Jauregui each scored twice for Arcadia.

Village Christian 3, Maranatha 0 — Mikaela Ashworth had 12 kills, four blocks and five digs, Kendall Schmedes had six kills and six digs and Emily Leung had 14 assist for the Minutemen (15-8, 3-2) in a 25-14, 25-17, 25-18 Olympic League loss.

Flintridge Sacred Heart back on top in volleyball

The Flintridge Sacred Heart volleyball team zoomed to the top of the San Gabriel Valley Newspaper’s Top 25 poll after an incredible showing in the Nfinity Tournament in San Diego. The Tologs easily swept Mayfield in pool play and finished second in the tournament to a team from Arizona. Gabrielino took second in its own tournament this past weekend to move up three spots to No. 2.
Mayfield dropped a spot with South Pasadena, a win over Glendora a little over a week ago in the Ayala tournament, and a victory at La Canada, securing No. 4.
