Alhambra 9-2, Lynwood 1-0 — Gilbert Romero pitched six innings, striking out six, Jake Sanchez had two hits and three RBIs and Benny Olguin had two hits for the Moors in the doubleheader opener. Olguin pitched six innings, striking out six, and Julian Zermeno had two hits and an RBI for Alhambra (2-0) in the second game.
La Mirada 20-11, La Serna 1-1 — Shawn Dumser pitched six scoreless innings, Jakob Gonzalez had a home run and three RBIs and Chad Wilson had three hits and three runs for the Matadores in the doubleheader opener. Omar Myzel had three hits and two RBIs and RJ Lan had two hits and an RBI for La Mirada in its second win.

Pasadena 1, Norte Vista 0 — Freshman Vicente Tinoco scored with 15 minutes to play to earn the Bulldogs their second consecutive CIF-SS Division 3 quarterfinal appearance. Junior Jason Bautista had the assist for Pacific League champion Pasadena (18-1-2), which plays at Agoura on Friday.
WARREN 4, ST. FRANCIS 1 — The Bears had the offense rolling and were rewarded with a trip to the Division 1 quarterfinals and a road match against Peninsula on Friday.
VALLEY CHRISTIAN 2, SAN MARINO 1 (2 OT) — The Crusaders are on their way to the Division 6 quarterfinals after Josh Akrofi netted the game-winner off of a corner kick from Klay Solomon in the second overtime on the road.

Keppel 44, Kennedy 26 — Sophia Song scored 14 points and had eight rebounds and six steals and Vanessa Aguirre had nine points and eight steals for the Aztecs (22-7) in a Division 2AA CIF-SS second-round win.
