Maranatha 13, South Pasadena 3 — Freshman Charles Acker was the winning pitcher, striking out six, and had two hits an two runs scored and Evan Chang went 3 for 3 with a double and a triple for the Minutemen (2-2-1) in a nonleague victory. Ben Guess had three hits and two doubles, Marco Martinez had two hits and had three runs scored for Maranatha.

Softball

Arroyo 15, Temple City 0 — Bailee Weisz went 2 for 3 for the Rams (3-4) in a nonleague loss.

Boys tennis
Maranatha 14, Flintridge Prep 4 — Matt Alleman swept in singles and the teams of Kelvin Ye and Drew Sierra and Julian Lin and Ben Smith swept in doubles to lead the Minutemen (3-1) to the nonleague victory.

Boys golf
Flintridge Prep 217, Temple City 249 — Jonah Sacks shot 40 and Ben Sacks shot a 5-over-par 41 for the Rebels (6-1) in a nonleague match at Altadena Golf Course. Preston Ho shot 42 and Matthew Choi shot 47 for Flintridge Prep.
