Girls tennis
Arcadia 11, San Marino 7 — The team of Angela Qiu and Sunny Ng swept in doubles for the Apaches (18-0) in a CIF Southern Section Division 1 first-round victory. Anessa Lee swept in singles for San Marino. It was the first match between the two schools since the 2012 CIF Division 2 finals, which San Marino won.
Crescenta Valley 10, Alhambra 8 — Freshman Justine Dondonay and sophomore Gaby Dondonay swept in singles for the top-seeded Moors in a Division 3 first-round loss. Justine finished team play 51-0.
La Quinta 12, Maranatha 6 — Angela Hsieh swept in singles for the Minutemen in a Division 4 first-round loss. Malena Smith won one match in singles and the teams of Madelyn Hernandez and Michael Wilkins and Reagan Atallah and Rose Zhang both won one in doubles for Maranatha.
