San Marino 61, Providence 47 — Jadyn Torres scored 27 points and had 12 rebounds and Michael Shahan had 15 points and six rebounds to lead the Titans (6-2), who placed third at the Poly Tournament.

Girls basketball
Cleveland 52, Maranatha 44 — Patil Yaacobian scored 12 points and had two rebounds, Cherise Masuda had nine points and two assists and Taylor Ota added six points for the Minutemen (5-5) in a Burroughs Tournament sixth-round loss.
Pasadena Poly 39, San Marino 36 — Sarah Johnson had 21 points for the Panthers (7-1), who placed third at the Poly Tournament.

Boys soccer
Valley Christian 2, Maranatha 1 — Chris Morales scored for the Minutemen in a Temple City Invitational loss.

Girls water polo
Glendale 7, Arcadia 5 — Alyssa Boseroy scored three goals, Katie Nigolian scored twice and goalie Loreny Valdez had nine saves for the visiting Apaches (4-4) in a Burbank Tournament fourth-round loss.
Arcadia 10, Hoover 1 — Lauren Sargent scored four goals and Sara Veerman scored three goals for the Apaches in a Burbank Tournament third-round win Friday.
Westridge 15, Mayfield 12 — Kathryn McCullough scored five goals and had two assists and Claire Engstrom scored three goals for the Tigers, who placed second at the Burbank Tournament.
