Out of the bag
Like you probably do where you work, we have an office March Madness bracket pool going on (no money is trading hands, I assure you). Unlike you, our office is filled with experts on sports -- you know, sports writers, sports editors, sports photographers.
So do you know who is sitting in first place of our contest right now out of 64 contestants? Willow! And do you know what Willow is? A cat! No I mean it, a CAT!
Why don't you just take a hot poker and run it through my heart.

Daily Breeze reporter Donna Littlejohn has shared her homes with a succession of wonderful, funny, and occasionally difficult canines -- Muffin, Fritz, Ellie, Mercy, Pilgrim and now Cowboy, an Australian shepherd-border collie, and Tess, a border collie. From strong-willed terriers to weirdly obsessed Australian shepherds, they've invaded her world with boundless energy, wet noses, muddy paws and soggy tennis balls.
