Noisy dogs save lives!
As the owner of the loudest dog in the South Bay, I get my share of nasty looks from my neighbors who claim to want to "sleep" at night. Yeah, right.
But here's a story that should give them some comfort. I mean, sure, it's sad some poor guy died, but two people were saved. Why? Because their dogs barked.
Instead of being shunned by my neighbors, they should throw me and the dog a parade.



Daily Breeze reporter Donna Littlejohn has shared her homes with a succession of wonderful, funny, and occasionally difficult canines -- Muffin, Fritz, Ellie, Mercy, Pilgrim and now Cowboy, an Australian shepherd-border collie, and Tess, a border collie. From strong-willed terriers to weirdly obsessed Australian shepherds, they've invaded her world with boundless energy, wet noses, muddy paws and soggy tennis balls.
