You know that art festival they have in Laguna where people pretend to be paintings?

I think I'm going to enter one this year. It's of that iconic painting of dogs playing poker.

Below is the original. Under that is my rendering.

Hi Josh,

Thanks for catching that. It also looks like Rocket is trying to say to you "let's go to Vegas baby"!

Terri left this comment on a different post, but we think it was supposed to be for this one. Here's what she said:

What a poker face he has!

Hmmmmm said:

See what happens when you allow him to go to school? He runs into the back alleys with his classmates during recess and gambles! Poor Rocket got corrupted by those other 'Ruff'ians and then they bluffed him into a last place finish. Never trust a Sassy Samoyed....
be thankful it's not strip poker he's playing

About the Bloggers

Daily Breeze reporter Donna Littlejohn has shared her homes with a succession of wonderful, funny, and occasionally difficult canines -- Muffin, Fritz, Ellie, Mercy, Pilgrim and now Cowboy, an Australian shepherd-border collie, and Tess, a border collie. From strong-willed terriers to weirdly obsessed Australian shepherds, they've invaded her world with boundless energy, wet noses, muddy paws and soggy tennis balls. But they've really brought so much more than that -- like laughter and joy, some unexpected life lessons, and more than a few tears along the way.

He now owns the loudest dog in the South Bay(Video: Rocket the Dog) and is the least popular person on his block. He spends his free time in dog parks, pet shops and always has an extra plastic bag in his pocket just in case. He also has a cat.
