The loneliest dog in the park
Some days you go to the dog park and it seems like there are hundreds of pups running around, barking, chasing balls and wrestling.
And on other days, you're the only one there. So what do you do when there's nobody there to play with. You stare at the gate and wait for a friend to show up.

Daily Breeze reporter Donna Littlejohn has shared her homes with a succession of wonderful, funny, and occasionally difficult canines -- Muffin, Fritz, Ellie, Mercy, Pilgrim and now Cowboy, an Australian shepherd-border collie, and Tess, a border collie. From strong-willed terriers to weirdly obsessed Australian shepherds, they've invaded her world with boundless energy, wet noses, muddy paws and soggy tennis balls. But they've really brought so much more than that -- like laughter and joy, some unexpected life lessons, and more than a few tears along the way.
Josh Grossberg grew up with the usual array of animals: goldfish, dogs, hamsters, parakeets and turtles. He now owns the loudest dog in the South Bay(
Hmm, I don't think I ever thought of my dog's head as being intense before, but I guess it could work. In fact, the rest of him is pretty intense too.
I know this is an older write up but still had to comment. I can't see Rocket's face but the back of his head is so intense! Poor baby. I've had that same back of the head look too while waiting! So glad Rocket's friends finally showed up. Rocket might have pulled thru but I couldn't have taken it much longer for him! LOL............

Yes, other dogs finally showed up. There was Opie and Maureen and Max, all frisky dogs that Rocket likes to romp with.
Best of all were the schnauzers. I don't know their names, but they go to the little-dog park and they like to bark and run with Rocket along the fence.
Thanks for asking, Ken, but what's the deal with your name? It kinda gives me the willies!
Poor guy! Did any other dogs ever show up?
