Almost real
You want a dog or a cat, but you don't want the fleas, the shedding, the destroyed furniture, the food and vet bills.
So this is for you: Breathing Perfect Pets. From the company (This Place is a Zoo):
These plush dogs and cats actually breathe. They look very realistic when their tummys are moving in and out like they are really breathing. We have several stuffed breathable dogs and some cats too. These breathing puppies come with their own blanket to lay on and a cardboard carrying case as well as a certificate of adoption and a care manual.
$32.50 each.

Breeds shown are a chihuahua, in honor of my colleague Sandy who has 2 (real) chihuahuas, Desi and Carmen, and told me about this site; and, below, in the case ($19.95, in blue or red), a border collie for my dog, Tess.
They have lots of other breeds. But no bluetick coonhounds like Rocket, who's clearly one of a kind.

But they've really brought so much more than that -- like laughter and joy, some unexpected life lessons, and more than a few tears along the way.
