Tess, p.s.
It was back to the vet on Friday for Tess, who managed sometime during the night before to finally gnaw a hole in her latest splint. We were due to get it replaced Monday anyway.

We're back to hot pink. And it looks like splint changes from now on will have to be weekly. The last one was put on with the intention of leaving it for 2 weeks (we almost made it). But moisture had collected beneath the apparatus, which can cause infections, so the vet suggested changing it more often.

Here's Tess's new pink cast -- which perfectly matches her pink collar.
She's a good sport about it all. Me, not so much.
