The winner is Tramp (by a nose)
USA Today today has a story about the latest Disney movie about a dog. It's about a chihuahua, a breed of dog that doesn't really count, but their very popular nowadays with ladies who like to carry them around in their purses.
If you go to the site, you can vote for your favorite Disney dog. Leonard Maltin also offers list of the Top 10 pooches, which I can't find online, but here it is:
1: Goofy (Not really a dog if you ask me)
2. Pluto
3. Lady and the Tramp (that's really two dogs, but whatever)
4. Old Yeller (the saddest movie ever made)
5 Pongo and Perdita (Again, two dogs -- what about their 101 children?)
6. Chifton in the Shaggy Dog (The original, not the stupid remake)
7. Slinky Dog from Toy Story
8. Frankenweenie
9 Nana from Peter Pan.
10. Chance and Shadow from Homeward Bound (Can't these people count?)
Lady and the Tramp are winning, but I'd have to vote for Shadow. He overcomes many obstacles to be reunited with his boy. I get teary-eyed just thinking about it. If everybody who reads this votes for Chance, then we could boost his total by three votes!
