Arise, Sir Monkey
We don't have Taco John's restaurants are here and I've never seen one, but I've seen their commercials. They star a monkey in a cowboy suit that rides a dog.
It's funnier than it sounds. Trust me.
And now, Whiplash the monkey is being knighted at some sort of winter festival in Minnesota. Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey, that Taco John's huckster who for years has amazed young and old alike with his rodeo skills, was bestowed with one of the Twin Cities' most revered honors.
Whiplash was knighted Thursday night in St. Paul by the Winter Carnival royalty at Tom Reid's Hockey City Pub near the Xcel Energy Center.
