Message from some flounder
I got this sweet e-mail. Go ahead write me and if you butter me up enough, I might post it...
Hey, I know everyone (or anyone who loves their dog) says the same thing...but...is this not one of the cutest dogs you've ever seen???
He was given to me 4 years ago by my now deceased brother Tom, I think Duke (my pooch has a big macho name for a little bitty turdmaker, don't you think?) is an angel sent from heaven, God just sent him down early while Tom was still with us.love my brother, and I love my dog!!Thanks for loving animals,Alice

Daily Breeze reporter Donna Littlejohn has shared her homes with a succession of wonderful, funny, and occasionally difficult canines -- Muffin, Fritz, Ellie, Mercy, Pilgrim and now Cowboy, an Australian shepherd-border collie, and Tess, a border collie. From strong-willed terriers to weirdly obsessed Australian shepherds, they've invaded her world with boundless energy, wet noses, muddy paws and soggy tennis balls. But they've really brought so much more than that -- like laughter and joy, some unexpected life lessons, and more than a few tears along the way.
Josh Grossberg grew up with the usual array of animals: goldfish, dogs, hamsters, parakeets and turtles. He now owns the loudest dog in the South Bay(
Hi Alice,
Duke looks like a great "baby"! I'm sure he is well taken care and spoiled rotten (as well he should be). I'm sorry for your loss and I think your brother knows that Duke is in good hands.
On a side note: I have a feeling when it comes to animals Josh is a big softy!
Hi back Terri!
Yes, he is truly a wonderful furbaby...spoiled too, but worth it!
My bother Tom was a serious dog lover and I really believe a part of him knew he was about to leave us, maybe he brought this little sweetheart into my life to help ease the pain.
Thanks for your kind thoughts.
Alice
