Wet dog
Raining? In L.A.? In May?
OK, more of a drizzle, but still enough to get my dogs pretty damp.
Tess happily burst through the doggie door and onto the sofa this morning with a wet greeting. Cowboy respectfully kept his distance.
Do your dogs like rain? I finally bought some runner carpet strips to lay down in the kitchen a few months ago from Lowe's. Those, at least, keep the muddy paw print trails to a mimium during weather like this.



Daily Breeze reporter Donna Littlejohn has shared her homes with a succession of wonderful, funny, and occasionally difficult canines -- Muffin, Fritz, Ellie, Mercy, Pilgrim and now Cowboy, an Australian shepherd-border collie, and Tess, a border collie. From strong-willed terriers to weirdly obsessed Australian shepherds, they've invaded her world with boundless energy, wet noses, muddy paws and soggy tennis balls.
