Stolen San Pedro puppy returned
There were cheers and applause tonight in a San Pedro neighborhood when Bubba, an 11-week-old bull mastiff who had been dognapped, arrived back home with his owners.
The dog had been left at the LAPD station and his owners, Mike Pesic and Tracy Antonovich, picked him up and brought him home at around 8:30 p.m. The woman said she had found the dog without his red collar and tag.
The couple said they were not interested in pressing charges and it is still unclear who took the dog or why. Read more about the story in our previous post. We love happy endings. Welcome home, Bubba. You're now the most famous dog in your neighborhood.

Daily Breeze reporter Donna Littlejohn has shared her homes with a succession of wonderful, funny, and occasionally difficult canines -- Muffin, Fritz, Ellie, Mercy, Pilgrim and now Cowboy, an Australian shepherd-border collie, and Tess, a border collie. From strong-willed terriers to weirdly obsessed Australian shepherds, they've invaded her world with boundless energy, wet noses, muddy paws and soggy tennis balls. But they've really brought so much more than that -- like laughter and joy, some unexpected life lessons, and more than a few tears along the way.

Have Bubba e-mail us :-) and we will bake some pupcakes for him to celebrate his save return....
