pet stores: June 2010 Archives
What's up with Centinela Pet Store's coupons? I had my June coupons -- and had not received the July ones in the mail yet -- but when I went to use them tonight, on June 30, they said they'd "expired." I said I hadn't gotten my July ones yet and, after all, it is still June.
No go. The clerk wouldn't budge.
I wouldn't have stopped there had I not had the coupons, which I'd been carting around in my bag all month. June coupons should be good through June. Period. Wouldn't you think? Especially if a customer has not received their July coupons yet. And I think this is the second time this has happened to me at the end of a month.
I should have just left without buying anything, but I was almost out of cat food and this is a very hectic week for me, so I just paid the full price, grumbling all the while I'll admit.
Well, it's back to Global Pet Outlet for me. They're probably cheaper anyway, even when you can get Centinela to take their own coupons. Crazy. It's just not always easy for me to get to Global.
But I think I'll just make the effort from now on.
