Red light, green light

Sometimes bureaucratic snafus work out for us ordinary folks.

Take the case of the city's problems with installing red light cameras at 32 intersections as detailed by Daily News reporter Beth Barrett.

As a past victim of the red light cameras, I can attest to the feelong of it somehow being wrong to have been nabbed by a mechanical device. Especially, when I am convinced the light was yellow when I went through it.

And, in the area of self-promotion, read my Tipoff column today for a look at Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa's plans for his State of the City address..
