Arnold in Griffith Park

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Councilman Tom LaBonge visited the site of the Griffith Park fire this morning to review the damage and commend the firefighters. You can see a transcript and a video of the governor's remarks here.

Earlier this week, the governor issued an executive order directing state agencies to provide additional resources to firefighting efforts throughout the state, because of a fire season that is starting much earlier than usual.
