Obama, Romney camps offer views

Obama campaign manager David Plouffe, in a conference call with reporters, predicted the evening will end in a near draw.
“We are winning more states and think when we come out of it, we will have won about 606 delegates to their 534,” Plouffe said. “All in all, it was a terrific night for us.A couple of weeks ago people were saying it would be all over tonight.”
Plouffe said he was particularly pleased that Obama was able to win in Delaware and Connecticut, two states where only Democrats were allowed to vote, defying conventional wisdom that Obama needed independents to win.
Also, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney said he had no plans to get out of the race, despite his poor showing against Sen. John McCain and former Arkansas Gov.Mike Huckabee.
“One thing that's clear from tonight, this campaign is going on,” Romney told supporters in Massachusetts.
