Young McCainers Blow Away Stereotypes

| | Comments (0) |

Looking at Felicia Tweedy and Ann Culver, you would assume them to be either Obama supporters (they're both in their twenties), or Clinton supporters (both women). But these to L.A. women defy every stereotype about what kind of voters frontrunners attracted on Super Tuesday. Tweedy and Culver are McCain lovers, and they were both bouncing off the walls in excitement when news outlets started naming him the winner of California's Republican primary.

"We were screaming,'' said Culver, a teacher at St. Mark's middle school in Venice. We had a moment there, but once you see it, you hope.'' Culver has used her fervor for McCain to get her students interested in politics. "When he did his Facebook and his MySpace, all these 12-year-olds got on there. They were coversing with him about issues.''
