Bloomberg to help Villaraigosa

| | Comments (2) |

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg will be helping out Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa next month with a fundraiser to help the L.A. mayor in his re-election campaign next year, the New York Observer is reporting.
The site named two unidentified invitees for the June 9 event.
Villaraigosa has been quietly amassing funds for the 2009 race even though he has no major opponents yet.

Villaraigosa has to go across the continent to find support.

He's not going to get re-elected no matter how much money he has. Aside from his major embarrassments, he ignored the city's needs while pandering to the Clinton campaign.

What pisses me off is Bloomberg sticking his nose in L.A.'s business. Is he not aware of the mess that L.A. is in?

What happened to unlocking the traffic mess? What happened to the Million Trees? And have you noticed that Villaraigosa used his family to get elected, and finally took his family's photos off of the city website.

What has Villaraigosa done correctly? Absolutely nothing...ha!

I missed something: Villaraigosa has no major opponents yet?

Have you heard about Walter Moore? Didn't he place pretty well in the previous election? He received more votes than a lot of City Councilmembers.

I think you're underestimating Walter.
