First lady Laura Bush and her daughter Jenna Bush Hager obviously don't believe the widespread joke that the only things Angelenos read are screenplays and contracts. Tony Castro in the Daily News,

The two were at the Los Angeles Central Library on Thursday reading to youngsters from their new best-selling children's book, "Read All About It!"

The story about a fictional boy named Tyrone could easily be about a real child of today: He doesn't like to read. But the book, of course, tells how he gets hooked on reading.
