From the DNC: Mayor watch

From the Dallas Morning News
Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa told the Texas delegates -- who are equally divided between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton -- that they must all come together. Tonight is Hillary's big speech and so the surrogates are out in force trying to heal the divisions in the party. Villaraigosa was was a 100 percenter for Hillary, and so he was the perfect messenger -- a guy who loses the love of his life and can turn around in a few short months and find happiness with a new love. "We have an opportunity to come together and put our differences aside," the mayor said. "I was passionate about my candidate and now I'm passionate about Barack Obama." He said other Clinton supporters ask how he could do that -- switch so completely. "The nation and its future is bigger than any candidate," he said.
