Refuse to be abused. The facts are in and we all must conserve water and electricity. The true abuse is coming from the city government and DWP for not conserving and properly using our ratepayer revenue. They are taking a negative and making it into a negative by misusing these funds on ridiculous programs like light bulbs and I spy door hangers. The city redirects funds into the endless pit of a general fund. Our infrastructure is falling apart while the intended increased rate revenue is being abused.
What can we do about it? Make your vote count and get out and vote on election days. Make your voice heard. Join SLAP and other groups and get organized. Use emails and flood the city agencies with your displeasure from their misguided services. Don’t just post negative thoughts but truly get results and refuse to be abused.
