Betting on the Dodgers

For the second year in a row, Councilman Tom LaBonge is making one of those political bets with Philadelphia Councilman Curtis Jones Jr., on the outcome of hte Dodgers-Philadelphia series.
The two made a similar bet last year, resulting in LaBonge sending off bboks on Los Angeles to the Philadelphia library as well as a case of Dodger dogs and pumpking bread. LaBonge also had to wear a Philadelphia Phillies jersey in council one day.
"Philadelphia is a great city. I love Eagle's coach Andy Reid and
his team," La Bonge said.. "But the Dodgers are going
to knock the Phillies out of the park to New Jersey before this series
is over."
