Dispute delays fees hike

Complaints from neighborhood groups prompted the City Council on Tuesday to delay a plan to increase the costs of appealing new development projects. Daily News.

The council asked for a new ordinance to be submitted today that would keep costs to appeal projects at their current levels: $74 to appeal a project approved by the Planning Department and $358 to appeal one approved by the Building and Safety Department.
