Nahai to get consulting contract
Newly resigned DWP chief David Nahai would be paid his full salary through December, working as an "on-call consultant," under a proposal to be considered today by the Water and Power Commission. Daily News.
Batting away suggestions by critics that the deal was just another handsome payout to a top city manager, who even clashed privately with DWP commissioners, Board President Lee Alpert said Monday the panel needed Nahai's advice.
