Pomona youth participate in Red Ribbon event
POMONA - Children representing various schools in the city have gathered in the Pomona Civic Center Plaza for a Red Ribbon Kick-off Celebration this morning.
The Ganesha High School band, cheerleaders from Pomona High School and the Diamond Ranch High School Luau Dancers will all be part of the event.
A total of 21 students are expected to be recognized for their work on posters urging fellow young people to stay away from drugs.
