Pomona Council to hold hearing involving request to establish a non-emergency medical transportation service
Members of the City Council are expected to hold a public hearing during Monday night's meeting involving a non-emergency medical transportation.
Premier Medical Transportation, Inc. would like to provide non-emergency medical transportation and basic life support ambulance service in the city, according to a city staff report.
Council members will conduct a hearing to determine if a need exists that merits issuing a certificate of public convenience and necessity to Premier, the report said.
The closed portion of the City Council meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. with the open portion beginning at 7 p.m. in City Hall, 505 S. Garey Ave.
