Non-profit agency to hold fund raising event

A touch of Hollywood will surround a gala event to raise funds for the House of Ruth.

"Hooray for Hollywood!" is scheduled for March 20 at Red Hill Country Club, 8358 Red Hill Country Club Drive in Rancho Cucamonga.

The event begins at 6 p.m. with a silent auction and cocktails, followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m.

Activities will include dancing and a live auction.

Tickets are $125 per person. Sponsorship opportunities are available beginning at $1,500.

The House of Ruth provides assistance to residents of eastern Los Angeles and western San Bernardino counties who are victims of domestic violence along with their children.

In addition to providing shelter and services, House of Ruth also offers programs related to intervention and prevention of domestic violence.
