Comedy show coming to Pomona's Fox Theater
The Fox Theater in Pomona will offer a comedy show June 19 featuring comic Rick Martinez.
The 90-minute show will take place at the Fox, 301 S. Garey Ave., in the Pomona Arts Colony.
Following the show an after party will be offered in the theater's "Rooftop Lounge" featuring DJCre-8.
Martinez, a native of New York, has performed at the major Improve comedy clubs in addition to local comedy clubs, according to a statement from production company Flappers Comedy.
Martinez is working on the movie "Lean like a Cholo" and has appeared in the independent film "Up Against the Eight Ball" which was screened at the NY Film Festival.
In addition, Martinez has been on VH1's "When Comics Ruled the World" and is the creator of "Latin Knights," a collaboration of the hottest Latin comics in the industry.
Two shows will be offered, the first at 8 p.m. and the second starting at 10 p.m. Audience members must be 18 and over.
