BOYS BASKETBALL: Upland Christian 55, Boys Republic 46

All-tournament selection Matt Proulx scored 16 points for the second consecutive night to help give Upland Christian the consolation championship with a win over Boys Republic. The Eagles (3-1) improved on their seventh-place finish from last year.
The game was a close contest throughout with Upland Christian leading 23-22 at the half. However, the Eagles outscored tje Rams (1-2) 21-15 in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
The Rams’ Terry Baxter led all scorers with 20 points while Ernest Holloway added 12.
Upland Christian opens up Arrowhead League play on the road against CSDR on Tuesday, December 11.
