Art Robledo scored the Braves’ (8-8-2; 3-1-1) lone goal in their home victory over the Cougars (7-12-2; 1-3-1). T.J. Shaffer had six saves for Alta Loma.
Los Osos 3, Claremont 2
Matt Santa Cruz scored on an Alejandro Serrano free kick into the box with three minutes left to give the visiting Grizzlies (8-7-4, 3-1-1) a victory over the Wolfpack (4-1 Baseline).
Serrano and Dane Johnson rounded out the second-half scoring for Los Osos while Claremont’s goals were from Tony Alaniz and Kyle Manis.
CITRUS BELT LEAGUE
Redlands East Valley 11, Yucaipa 1
Twins Jeremy and Robert Carroll scored two goals each in the Wildcats’ (13-5-2, 3-4-2) victory over the Thunderbirds in showers in Redlands.
REV out shot Yucaipa 34 to three.
MT. BALDY LEAGUE
Montclair 3, Chaffey 2
Montclair’s Martin Esqueda headed in the game-winning goal, his second of the game, off a cross with five minutes to play.Chaffey (8-9, 3-2) trailed 2-0 after Gustavo Marquez headed in a corner kick early in the second half for Montclair (17-4, 4-1) but goals by Edwardo Perez and Eric Vivanco, who also had an assist, tied the game at two.
Garey 8, Colony 0
Arturo Gallegos scored three goals and Bryan Godinez added two as the visiting Vikings (9-4-4, 4-1) defeated the Titans (5-9-4, 1-4).
Garey goalie Luis Mendoza recorded his third shutout of the year with two saves.
SIERRA LEAGUE
Chino 3, Ayala 2
Jordan Santoyo scored in the last minute of the game off a Jared Taylor through pass to lift the visiting Cowboys (9-8-4, 2-2-1) past the Bulldogs to complete the first half of league play.
Phillip Cervantes added a goal and an assist for Chino, who outshot Ayala 10-4.
Andy Afia and Roshan Talwar scored for Ayala.
Chino Hills 4, Damien 2
Ryan Dos Santos scored two goals and had one assist as the Huskies (19-1-3, 3-0-2) defeated the Spartans (10-8-3, 3-2) to complete the first half of league play undefeated.
Marco Franco scored three minutes into the game and also had an assist for Chino Hills.
Damien’s Kenny Leslie had a goal.
