DIVISION II-AA

Etiwanda 76, Rialto 41
Jasmine Bernard scored 21 points and had 21 rebounds to lead Etiwanda to a 76-41 victory over Rialto on Saturday in Division II-AA of the CIF-Southern Section girls basketball playoffs.
Amber Williams added 17 points for Etiwanda (21-7).
Janae Sharpe also had 21 points for Rialto (18-7).

Miller 66, La Canada 32
Lola Wells scored 19 points, including going 9-for-11 from the field, to lead the No. 1 Rebels (24-2) past the visiting Spartans (15-13).
Shineque Phillips went 6-for-7 with 13 points and also grabbed six rebounds.

Rancho Cucamonga 72, Diamond Ranch 53
Jill Matthews scored 27 points and had six assists to lead the Cougars (16-12) past the Panthers and into the second round.
Ailine Sonua added 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Kathleene Iwuoha had 14 points and nine rebounds.

DIVISION II-A

Ayala 83, Schurr 42
Rebekah Gardner scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Bulldogs (25-4) into the quarterfinals with a road victory over the Spartans.
Rhema Gardner and Jasmine Holliday added 20 points apiece, with Holliday adding 12 rebounds and five blocks for Ayala, which led 50-21 at the half.

DIVISION III-AA

Summit 58, Atascadero 36
Ariel Geoorge scored 15 points all via 3-pointers as her senior-less Skyhawks (26-1) advanced to the quarterfinals for the first time in the school’s two year existence. Maiya Michelle scored 13 and had 15 rebounds for Summit, which lost last year in the second round and has already excedded its goal of making it to the quarterfinals according to head coach Onishi.

DIVISION III-A

Chaffey 61, Ocean View 57
Teonna Campbell had a steal and a three-point play in the final minute to put the Tigers (24-2) ahead and lift visiting Chaffey into the next round of the playoffs.
Monet Smith led Chaffey with 18 points and 12 rebounds and Lute Seliuni added 13 points for the Tigers, who will play Yucca Valley on Wednesday at a site to be determined.

Don Lugo 47, South Hills 44 (OT)
Don Lugo switched to a full-court press the last three quarters which payed off as South Hills only scored 17 second-half points.
Danielle Aguilar hit two free-throws with 1:31 which tied it up and Don Lugo outscored South Hills 5-2 in the OT period with Yvette Gonzalez stealing a pass with six seconds left to seal the game.
Angelica Peralta scored 16 points and Melanie Fagaly added 13 for the Conquistadors (20-8) against the Huskies.
Don Lugo plays on Wednesday in the quarterfinals, a step up from last year’s team which lost in the second round.

Colony 76, Granite Hills 31
Amani Butler scored 20 points and Hailey White had 19 as the top-seeded Titans (23-2) defeated the visiting Cougars (10-11).
White also had four 3-pointers.
Colony will play Coachella Valley on Wednesday with a coin flip to take place today to determine the location.
Jasmine Gonzales led Granite Hills with eight points.

DIVISION IV-AA

Mesa Grande Academy 29, Cypress Oxford Academy 28
Megan Williams had 11 points with 23 rebounds, 17 defensive for the Cardinals (25-4) in their low-scoring victory over the Patriots.
Tamara Bowles had nine points and nine assists and had the go-ahead 3-pointer with two minutes to go.

DIVISION IV-A

Beaumont 69, Upland Christian 40
The Cougars (22-3) defeated the Eagles (20-3) behind the 23-point effort of Chelsea Wilson.
Upland Christian was led by Destinee Duncan’s 14 points.

DIVISION V-A

Granada Hills Hillcrest Chr. 54, Calvary Baptist 38
Senior Nikole Logue had 20 points, nine rebounds and four blocked shots for the Cougars (15-7) in the loss to Hillcrest Christian (15-10). Jasmine Bayliss added 11 points and 10 rebounds.
