DIVISION I[
Buena 3, Los Osos 0
The Grizzlies had a 20-3 advantage in shots and bounced three off the crossbar but couldn’t find the net and were shut out by host Buena of Ventura in second round play.
Walnut 3, Redlands 2 (4OT)
The Terriers led 2-1 but gave up the tying goal with three minutes left in regulation and went on to lose to the Mustangs 3-2 in four overtimes.
Neither team scored in the first of two 10 minute overtimes. Walnut finally got a score seven minutes into the second 10-minute sudden death.
Casey Mendoza and Nina King had the goals in regulation for Redlands (15-5-4).
Redlands was without two starters. Senior midfielder Hannah Carroll injured a knee in the first round win over Chaffey and senior left defender Irene Ramos (knee) has been out a week.
DIVISION IV
Granite Hills 2, Lakewood St. Joseph 1
Louise Baartz and Shelby Sheldon each scored goal<NO1>had a pair of goals<NO> for the Cougars (18-5-2) in their second round victory over the Jesters.
Granite Hills advances to the quarterfinals Friday for the fourth consecutive year.
DIVISION VI
Ontario Christian 3 Sierra Madre Alverno 1
Kaitlin Mendoza, Jaclyn Bollena and Marisella Macias were all scorers as<NO1>the goals needed in<NO> the Knights (17-8-3) defeated Alverno at the Glendale sports complex. Ontario Christian advances to the quarterfinals Friday for the third straight year.
Arrowhead Christian 4, Bishop Union 0
For the third straight year, the Eagles (17-5-4) advance to the quarterfinals in Wednesday’s victory over the Broncos.
Kristina Gomez scored two goals and had an assist.
On Friday, ACA meets Murrieta Calvary Chapel, which knocked it out of the quarterfinals the last two years.
