CHINO TOURNAMENT
Yucaipa 5, Menifee Paloma Valley 0
Matt Davidson belted a solo home run and threw eight strikeouts from the mound, also recording the win as the Thunderbirds (3-1) defeated the Wildcats.
Wyatt Padgett went 2-for-3 with two runs scored for Yucaipa.

Rialto 6, West Covina 5
In the bottom of the sixth, Nick Martinez had a run-scoring single to tie it and Julio Espinoza’s single drove in Martinez for the game-winning run for the Knights (3-3) in the fourth round of the Chino Tournament.
Martinez and Espinoza each finished 2-for-3 with a double. Abel Asuna earned the victory after entering in the fifth and giving up just one hit through three innings.

Chino Hills 8, Riverside Poly 7
Josh Evans got the final three outs for his first save, preserving the Huskies’ victory over the Bears.
With the score 8-6 in the seventh, Evans entered the game with runners on first and second with no outs. He got a ground ball, a sacrifice fly and a strikeout to preserve the win.
Matt Lowenstein hit a three-run homer and Chris Sulcer also homered and drove in two runs for Chino Hills. Jake Marisnick homered twice, including a two-run homer in the seventh for Poly.

Chino 7, Redlands East Valley 3
The Cowboys (5-1) prevailed, getting two hits each from Garrett Branske and Danny Fernandez. Also, for Chino, Kyle Nutter and Danny Fernandez hit home runs.

Rancho Cucamonga 11, Ontario 1
Kyle Noble had two hits and two RBI for the Cougars (2-4). Phil Schick went the distance on the mound, striking out four and walking none.

The Knights (4-2) stunned the Rebels (3-1) in the sixth inning with a two-run single by Galal Gough to score a come-from-behind victory.
Cesar Aguilar pitched all six innings for Miller, allowing three hits, striking out nine and walking four.
Tyler Farr got the win in relief for Ontario Christian.

DON LUGO TOURNAMENT
South Hills 7, Ayala 6

The Huskies (4-0) edged the Bulldogs (5-1) in the title game of the tournament. Kevin Cho had three hits and two RBI for the Bulldogs and Chasen Doerr and Jack Schellin had two hits each.
Also for the Bulldogs, Mike Rowland hit a home run.
Ayala plays Chino on Friday at Ayala at 3:15 p.m.

Don Lugo 2, Roosevelt 0
Jeff Miller led the game off with a triple and came home on Allende Esquivel’s single in the first which was all Don Lugo (3-3) would need in the shutout.
Miller finished 2-for-3 with one run scored.
The Conquistadores are off until next Friday when they travel to Colony for their first Mt. Baldy League game.

PALM DESERT TOURNAMENT
Cajon 16, San Jacinto 3
Aaron Brooks went 2-for-2 with two RBI and three runs scored as the Cowboys (3-1) defeated San Jacinto.
Cajon was also led by Jeff Ricker, who hit a two run home run totaling three RBI on the day for Cajon.
