For the third game in a row, Kim Bruins hit double-digit strikeouts, totaling 13 <NO1>Friday <NO>in the Terriers (2-1) victory over the Timberwolves in eight innings.
Brittany Yzagiurre’s bases loaded single clinched it for Redlands, which plays at 11 a.m. today at Brea Olinda in the consolation finals.

CORONA TOURNAMENT
Canyon Springs 1, Fontana 0
Kayla Uphold struck out six in the Steelers’ (4-1) loss to the Canyon Springs.
Fontana finished fourth in the 32 team tournament. Its next game is in the Jurupa Valley tournament starting at 2 p.m. Monday at Chino Hills’ field of dreams.

JURUPA VALLEY TOURNAMENT

Marshean August, Chanae Davis and Cassandra Vega each had two hits for the Eagles (3-3) and Vega pitched a one-hitter.
