BANNING TOURNAMENT
Redlands 15, Antelope Valley 0
Ryne Arnold was 3-for-3 and had an RBI with three runs scored in the Terriers victory over Antelope Valley taking home the tournament championship in their first year particapting.
Wes Cottier went 2-for-4 with a three run home run for Redlands, which now opens up league Wednesday host to Yucaipa t 3:15 p.m.
Arroyo Valley 4, Indio 3
Senior Joseph Meza went 3-for-3 with a pair of RBI roubles to lead the Hawks (4-2) over the Rajahs in the third place game.
BEAUMONT TOURNAMENT
Beaumont 27, Apple Valley 6
Winning pitcher Matt Werblak finished 4-for-6 with three triples, six RBI and four runs scored to lead Beaumont (3-1) past Apple Valley (1-3).
Sean Lazio hit 5-for-6 with two doubles and four RBI. Beaumont continues play in its own tournament on Monday when they meet Desert Hot Springs.
CLAREMONT TOURNAMENT
Damien 8, Covina 4
Nick Amerhein pitched six innings with six striekeouts for the Spartans (4-0) to end Covina’s undefeated season and take home the tournament championship.
Darren Dworak went 3-for-4 with two doubles and drove in the go ahead run for Damien clinching their victory.
Damien plays Friday to start up Sierra League at 3:15 p.m. Friday.
Claremont 4, Los Osos 3
Matt Anderson drove in Phil Gonzalez with one out in bottom of seventh inning as the Wolfpack edged the Grizzlies in the third-place game at the Claremont Tournament.
FOOTHILL TOURNAMENT
Carter 3, Fullerton 2
Carter (3-2) answered Fullerton’s 2-run fifth inning with three runs of their own in the bottom of the frame, which provided the final margin in the Foothill Tournament consolation bracket championship game.
John Mendiveles’ RBI double got Carter on the board before he was driven in by a fielders choice. Alex Morimito provided the game-winning RBI with a sacrifice fly to score Albert Enriquez.
GLENDORA TOURNAMENT
Alta Loma 10, Diamond Ranch 8
Senior Mike Able hit a walkoff two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to lead the Braves over the Panthers in the third-place game.
Junior Austin Dossey went 4-for-5 for Alta Loma (3-1) including a bases-loaded double to tie the game in bottom of seventh.
SAN GORGONIO TOURNAMENT
San Gorgonio 8, Corona Centennial 6
The Spartans (4-0) came out victorious in the championship game of their own tournament by hanging on to beat Centennial (4-1).
Ryan Nelson hit a three-run homer in the first inning and San Gorgonio never trailed. Aaron Rueda went 1-for-3 with a RBI double and also scored twice. On defense, Rueda turned two double plays at shortstop including one with the bases loaded in the sixth inning.
The Spartans start league play next Thursday when they travel to Arroyo Valley.
Etiwanda 5, Serrano 4
Sophomore Armand Valenzuela drove in the tying runs in the sixth and added a game-winning sacrifice fly in bottom of the eighth as the Eagles rallied to beat the Diamondbacks in the third-place game.
Rim of the World 10, Pacific 9
Casey Bennett scored the winning run in the when junior Jimmy Powell was hit with a pitch with the bases loaded as the Scots (1-3) rallied to beat the Pirates (0-3-1) in the seventh place game. Jacob Rose scored on a sacrifice fly by Jose Arona to tie the game.
NONLEAGUE
Big Bear 8-0, Aquinas 6-0
Aquinas split a double header with the Bears (2-4) at Aquinas.
In the Falcons game two win, pitcher Nico Flores threw a complete game one-hitter with six strikeouts to record his first victory of the season.
Jonathan Ruiz had five RBI total on Saturday and had a game tieing RBI in game one’s lost at the bottom of the seventh inning, in which they eventually lost in eight.

San Gorgonio played a graet game and a great tournament. After losing 8 quality Seniors from last years team everybody has written them off as havibg no chance. Senior Patrick Moore pitched 6 great innings yesterday against a very potent offense and held them to only 3 runs in 6 innings. The defense played big behind him and the offense got big hits with runners on base.
