JURUPA VALLEY TOURNAMENT
Los Osos 7, Cajon 5
Katelyn Mann hit a two run home run and scored twice as the Grizzlies (5-0) over the Cowgirls (2-1) to end their undefeated season.
Freshman Tori Hernandez went 3-for-3 including a two-run homer for Los Osos, which plays Hesperia Thursday in the semifinals at 3:45 p.m. at Chino Hills’ Field of Dreams.
Breja’e Washington went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI for Cajon.
Eisenhower 4Riverside Notre Dame 3
Marshean August hit a three run home run in the Eagles’ win over Notre Dame of Riverside. Cassandra Vega hit a double and scored for Eisenhower (4-5), and was also named the winning pitcher with eight striekouts.
Redlands 7, Corona Centennial 4
Kim Bruins went 2-for-5 with two RBI and struck out 12 to lead Redlands past Centennial in the quarterfinals.
Savannah Garcia was 3-for-4 for Redlands (6-1), which will face Fontana at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday at Chino Hills’ Field of Dreams.
Yucaipa 4, Kaiser 3
Megan Allen hit a three-run home run totaling all of the Thunderbirds’ RBI.
Yucaipa (5-3) continues tournament play against Redlands East Valley Thursday.
Redlands East Valley 5, Etiwanda 4
Rikki Scates drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning to help REV past Etiwanda in the third round.
Using international tiebreaker rules – beginning extra innings with a runner at second – REV outscored Etiwanda 3-2 in the seventh and eighth innings combined.
Fontana 5, Upland 4 (8)
The Steelers (6-2) scored two runs in the top of the eighth and held the Highlanders (6-3-1) to one in the bottom of the inning to advance to the semifinals.
Catcher Kim Endean went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI to lead Fohi while Veronica Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
NONLEAGUE
Diamond Bar 13, Walnut 0
Corey LeVier went 3-for-3 with three RBI and a pair of runs scored for the Brahmas (3-2-1).
BONITA TOURNAMENT
Colton 2, Glendora 0
Samantha Powell went 2-for-3 with a RBI triple to lead the Yellowjackets (2-1) to victory in the second round of the tournament.
Pitcher Clarissa Molina shutout Glendora (4-5) with a two-hitter including seven strikeouts.
Colton travels to Temecula Chaparral today at 3:15 p.m. for a third round game.
