MT. BALDY LEAGUE

Eddie Cruz’s three-run triple to right-center snapped a 6-6 tie with two outs in the sixth inning, sending Colony to a 9-7 win Friday over Don Lugo.
Charlie Hinojosa was 4-for-4 with two runs and four RBI for Don Lugo (3-4, 0-1). Colony (1-4, 1-0) picked up its first win of the season.

Garey 12, Chaffey 8
Sammy Garcia had two hits and four RBI and Jerry Ramos had three hits and four RBI for Garey (3-2-2, 0-2), which plays at Ontario at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Chaffey is 3-5 overall, 0-2 in league.

SIERRA LEAGUE
Chino 4, Ayala 2
Taylor Fallon and Garrett Branske each hit home runs as the Cowboys (6-1, 1-0) won their league opener. Branske also got the save, as Chino starting pitcher Taylor Jimenez moved to 4-0 on the year.
The Bulldogs (5-2, 0-1) were led by first baseman Ethan Miller who had an run-scoring double.

VALLE VISTA LEAGUE
Pomona 4, Ganesha 0
Senior Steven Valdivia hurled five scoreless innings, striking out five and giving up four hits as the Red Devils (3-7, 1-0) downed the Giants (1-4, 0-1).
Junior rightfielder Edward Barajas had two hits and scored a run while junior first baseman Daniel Gutierrez went 1-for-3 with an RBI.
The Bulldogs (0-1 in league) had four doubles in the loss.

MESA GRANDE TOURNAMENT
Upland Christian 16,Mesa Grande 0
James Spraggins drove in four runs and scored twice for the Eagles (2-8) as they defeated the Cardinals.
Jacob Villanova threw a complete game no-hitter with five strikeouts for Upland Christian.

Aquinas 11, Riverside Christian 0
Patricio Martinez had four hits and three RBI and Jimmy Seter had two hits and three RBI to lead the Falcons (4-3), who host Arrowhead Christian at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The Falcons placed fifth in the tournament with the win over Riverside Christian.
