Rim of the World 5, Serrano 4
Ryan Daniels’ walk-off double scored Graig Grotewold, capping off a two-run, two-out seventh-inning rally for the Scots (4-8 overall, 1-0 league).
Grotewold had an RBI double one batter earlier off the Diamondbacks (8-3, 1-1) to tie the score at 4.

MOJAVE RIVER LEAGUE
Sultana 8, Hesperia 4
Dan Senior had three hits, including two home runs, and drove in six to lead the Sultans (8-3, 1-1) past the Scorpions (1-1 in league).
Trevor Haas also had two hits, two runs and two RBI for Sultana, which hosts Rim of the World on Friday.

CITRUS BELT LEAGUE
Rialto 8, Carter 1
Eric Hernandez, Nick Martinez, and Danny DeSantiago combined for a two hits and one earned run against the host Lions. Eric Hernandez pitched a no-hitter and struck out seven for the Knights (6-4, 2-1).
Julio Espinoza went 2-for-4 with two RBI for Rialto.

SUNKIST LEAGUE
Kaiser 6, Jurupa Valley 2
Lavell Mann was 3-for-3 with an RBI as Kaiser cruised to its third league victory in four tries.
Troy Burrud was 2-for-3 with an RBI and Frankie Valenzuela finished 2-for-4 with two RBI for Kaiser (4-4-1, 3-1).
Jurupa Valley dropped to 2-8, 1-3.

NATIONAL CLASSIC
Yucaipa 11, El Dorado 3
The Thunderbirds bounced back from Tuesday’s 16-0 loss nicely, as Matt Marnati led the way with a double and a home run.
Wyatt Padgett also hit a home run for Yucaipa (9-3), which plays at Esperanza at 10 a.m. today for fifth place. Matt Davidson got the win for the Thunderbirds.

ATASCADERO TOURNAMENT
Alta Loma 8, Templeton 0
Justin Broussard and Brad Frailey had two hits each as the Braves prevailed. Colby Gurney threw a one-hitter for the Braves, striking out nine and walking nobody.
Alta Loma 10, Atascadero 2
Ryan Cunningham had three hits and three RBI and Austin Dossey had two hits and two RBI for Alta Loma (9-3), which plays Claremont on Monday at Claremont at 3:15 p.m.
Ryan Jones pitched a complete game, allowing seven hits and striking out seven.
Austin Keenan was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player and Gurney and Dossey made the all-tourney team.

CHINO BRIAN HAMILTON TOURNAMENT
Chaffey 6, West Covina 3
Jay Orozco went 2-for-4 with three RBI for the Tigers (5-6) in pool play. John Marez scored three times.
Huntington Beach Marina 7, Damien 3
Marina (6-4) erupted for four first-inning runs, which proved to be enough in their pool-play victory over the Spartans (5-3).
Matt Krause had a double to lead Damien, which will play Chaffey at 3 p.m. today at Chino High School.
Chino 28, Compton 0
Dominic Reyna struck out 10 Tarbabes en route to a perfect game for the Cowboys (9-2) in a pool-play game.
Danny Fernandez led a balanced Chino offensive attack with a home run, as the Cowboys rapped out 27 hits.
DON LUGO EASTER TOURNAMENT
Ayala 14, Arroyo Grande 5
Ethan Miller and Kyle Ginter each homered for the Bulldogs (7-4). Miller finished with four RBI, and four runs scored, while Ginter did the same RBI wise with a pair of runs scored.
Richard Perry threw six innings of one earned run striking out seven for Ayala.
Montclair 20, Marantha 8
Jeremy Weber went 3-for-5 with four RBI hichlighted by a two-run homerun in the seventh as the Cavaliers (4-7) cruised to a loser’s bracket win.
Drew Orantes and Casey Cate also had three hits each. Orantes had four RBI, two doubles and a stolen base while Cate had three RBI and a stolen base.
Pedro Padilla was the winning pitcher.

 

Etiwanda 7, Nogales 5
Alex Pena was 2-for-3 with two RBI and Ricky Oropesa was 3-for-3 with an RBI in Etiwanda’s second-round win.
The Eagles (8-4) will face the winner or Don Lugo-Rancho Cucamonga.

Los Osos 8, Diamond Ranch 3
Arby Fields had three RBI and Ryan Halstan hit a two-run home run in a second-round win for Los Osos (5-4, 1-2)
Richard Brehaut had two RBI for the Grizzlies, who will face the winner of Ayala-Arroyo Grande today.

Don Lugo 15,Rancho Cucamonga 6
Joel Gill went 4-for-4 with four RBI in Don Lugo’s second-round rout of the Cougars.
Charlie Hinojosa went 2-for-4 with four RBI for the Conquistadores (8-4, 2-1), who play Etiwanda today.

COACHELLA VALLEY TOURNAMENT
Redlands East Valley 9, Chaparral 2
Ryan Burcroff hit a grand slam and David Andriese added a three-run home run to give REV (11-1) a 9-0 lead two innings into the <NO1>Coachella Valley Tournament final<NO>championship game.
Tyler Chatwood was the tournament MVP. Named to the all-tournament team were Jeremy Perez and Eric Young, Wednesday’s starting pitcher.

Redlands 7, San Jacinto 0
Kyle Denison was 3-for-3 with two home runs and four RBI and Charlie Lutz pitched a three-hitter to lead the Terriers (9-5) in the fifth-place game at Indio High School.
Lutz struck out nine, walked none and didn’t allow a runner past second base. Redlands plays at Miller on April 9.
ST. PAUL TOURNAMENT
Aquinas 3, Los Angeles Salesian 2
Taylor Marrinan scored Patricio Martinez with a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh, giving the Falcons (7-6) the consolation championship victory.
Niko Flores pitched well against Salesian (6-8), striking out six in a complete-game victory.
St. Bernard 5, Ontario Christian 4
Ontario Christian takes home second-place in the 16 team tournament after losing to St. Bernard’s pitcher who went the distance.
Zach Canfield drove in two runs for the Knights (8-6).
