Kaiser 1, Vista Del Lago 0
Senior Ernie Rodriguez pitched a four-hit shutout to lead Kaiser over Vista Del Lago 1-0 on Saturday in the Inland Empire baseball classic.
Rodriguez struckout out six batters, and Lavel Mann drove in Malcolm Lee with a single in the third for the only run. Kaiser (6-4-1) plays at San Gordonio at 11 a.m. Monday.

INLAND EMPIRE CLASSIC
Cajon 9, Bloomington 1
The Cowboys took advantage of the six errors the Bruins commited in route to their first round victory at Cajon (10-2).
Cameron McCullough was much to thank as well in his complete game six strikeout performance putting him at 2-1 overall.

Carter 8, MoVal Canyon Springs 5
Desginated hitter Larry Chavez went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored in the Lions’ (9-5) victory over the Cougars in the first round.

San Gorgonio 6, Fontana 3
Senior Nick Heusterberg stroked a two-run home run in the third inning to boost the Spartans (11-1) past the Steelers.
Senior Alex Reuda (3-1) got the win, although it got interesting. He left with a 6-0 lead having given up just five hits.
The Steelers plated three runs in the seventh off reliever Ryan Nelson and had the bases loaded but Nelson struck out a hitter to end the game and leave the tyingruns stranded.

Rialto 5, MoVal Valley View 4
Abel Osuna singled in Xavier de la Cruz from third base in the bottom of the ninth inning with two outs giving the Knights a first round victory.
Osuna also recorded the win on the mound throwing seven scoreless innings with 10 striekouts for Rialto (8-4).
Rialto continues tournament play Monday at 11 a.m. at Pacific.

CHINO BRIAN HAMILTON TOURNAMENT
MarinA 5, Chino 2
Chino takes second place in it’s host tournament as they fell to the Vikings in the championship.
Taylor Fallon drove in an RBI for the Cowboys, which plays Wednesday at Damien at 3:15 p.m.
Dominic Reyna took home the tournament’s most valuable pitcher with his effort from a no hitter to Compton earlier in the tourney.

Damien 15, Colony 1
The Spartans took third place in the eight team tournament in their easy victory over the Titans. Nick Quincey hit his third homer in a row while Tony McClendon blasted a grand slam in his only one at bat for Damien (8-3).
