ARROWHEAD LEAGUE
Upland Chr. 18, La Verne Lutheran 6
The Eagles (13-7-1, 4-0) scored 11 runs in the first inning and cruised to an 18-6 win over visiting La Verne Lutheran.
Senior Shannon Thompson went 3-for-4 with six RBI, including a grand slam in the first inning. Winning pitcher Destine Duncan and Bri Remlinger also homered in the first frame.
Tara Abbott went 3-for-3 and Duncan went 2-for-2.
La Verne Lutheran (5-6, 1-3) got a 2-for-3 effort from sophomore Felicia Callas, who had a double and a home run.
CHRISTIAN LEAGUE
Loma Linda 3, Aquinas 2
Brittani Sampson hit the game-winning RBI double in the bottom of the seventh inning for Loma Linda (10-5, 1-1).
Sabrina Cruz, who went 2-for-3, scored the winning run after she singled and stole second.
Loma Linda pitcher Chelsea Aka, who held Aquinas (1-1 in league) to three hits in a complete game, went 2-for-3.
Pomona Catholic 9, Arrowhead Chr. 6
Shelby Reis went 2-for-4 with four RBI including a three-run homer for the Pacers (7-10, 2-0) in their victory against the Eagles.
Lillie Daniels hit a three-run home run for Arrowhead Christian.
Ontario Christian 5, Western Christian 2
Lexie Thomas struck out 10 in a complete-game victory for the Knights (7-8, 2-0). Thomas also went 3-for-4 with a double at the plate against the Lancers (3-14, 0-2).
SAN ANDREAS LEAGUE
Cajon 4, Colton 3
The Cowgirls (11-6, 5-1) created a tie for first with the walk-off win, as Brehanna Rodrigues beat the throw home from first on a Sharon Estrada ground ball in the bottom of the seventh.
Estrada sparkled against the Yellowjackets (10-6, 5-1), striking out seven in the complete-game victory to improve her record to 7-1.
San Gorgonio 2, Arroyo Valley 0
Ally Schmitz went 2-for-3 with both RBI for San Gorgonio (6-8, 4-2).
Delia Saucedo scattered three hits with eight strikeouts and three walks in the complete-game shutout.
The Spartans, who host Arroyo Valley at 10 a.m. on Saturday, scored one in the fourth and one in the sixth.
San Bernardino 6, Pacific 3
Liken Reyes went 3-for-3 with an RBI in helping San Bernardino (2-12, 1-6) to its first league win.
Karyn Chavarria allowed three hits in a complete game and went 2-for-3 for the Cardinals. Kiki Bluitt also went 2-for-3.
Samantha Johnson hit a first-inning, two-run home run for Pacific (5-9, 3-4).
