CITRUS BELT LEAGUE
Redlands East Valley 11, Miller 0
Eric Young went 2-for-3 with four RBI in the Wildcats’ shutout victory over the Rebels. Josh Salmon went 2-for-3 with three RBI for REV (15-2, 5-1), which is tied for first place with Yucaipa.

Yucaipa 18, Eisenhower 0
Matt Davidson opened the game with a solo homer, sparking a victory over the Eagles. Chad Erickson went 3-for-3 and drove in with three RBI for the tied for first-place Thunderbirds, who are tied for first.
Scott Snodgress and Adam Miller combined to throw a two-hitter with 14 strikeouts in their shutout win for Yucaipa.

 

Rialto 5, Redlands 4
Xavier Delacruz’s two-run double in the fifth inning gave Rialto (12-5, 5-1) the lead for good.
Nick Martinez went 2-for-2 with two RBI for Rialto and Abel Asuna went 2-for-3 before he picked up the save.
Redlands (1-4 in league) scored four in the fourth to take a 4-3 lead but couldn’t hold on.

MT. BALDY LEAGUE
Don Lugo 5, Colony 2
Senior Bobby Ryan earned the victory by pitching the first four innings before he was relieved by Charlie Hinojosa, then came back in the sixth to record the save for the Conquistadores’ win over the Titans.
Ryan allowed two hits and finished with five strikeouts, allowing just two hits. Hinojosa went 3-for-3 with a run scored for the first-place Conquistadores (12-5, 6-1).

Montclair 9, Ontario 2
Drew Oranntes went 4-for-4 with an RBI for the Cavaliers (7-10, 3-4) over the Jaguars. Justin Orona added in two more RBI for Montclair.
Ryan Whittington hit a solo homer for Ontario.

SIERRA LEAGUE
Chino 6, Ayala 4
Jerry Gonzalez and Danny Fernandez each homered for the Cowboys (12-4, 4-3), who moved above .500 in league with the victory.
Taylor Jimenez moved to 5-1 with the victory, with Taylor Fallon notching his second save.

NONLEAGUE
Rim of the World 7, Woodcrest Christian 6
Kenny Acosta hit two consecutive homers for the Fighting Scots (7-10, 2-2), who were trailing late in the game. Acosta earned the victory on the mound while Casey Bennett earned his first save of the season and drove in a pair of runs for Rim of the World.

CORONA SANTIAGO TOURNAMENT
Claremont 7, Jurupa Valley 0
Anthony Ceravice threw a complete-game one-hitter against the Wolfpack (9-7) <NO1>over the Jaguars. Woody Cash drove in three runs on a bases-clearing double for the Wolfpack.
