RAVENS fly HIGHER than CARDS  in BIG VICTORY!

Curtis Holthaus went 5-for-5 with five RBI in a mercy-rule win for Bloomington Christian (12-4, 6-0) over Mesa Grande Academy 25-10 in five innings in Victory League play.
Winning pitcher Matthew Eshleman went 4-for-5 with two RBI for Ravens, who scored 12 runs in the fifth and final inning. Eddie Matos went 3-for-3 with two RBI for Bloomington Christian and Joey Szczepanski 3-for-3 with an RBI.
Mesa Grande dropped to 0-12 overall, 0-6 in league.

CITRUS BELT LEAGUE
Fontana 6, Redlands 1
Adam Huizar threw seven strikeouts with no earned runs in the Steelers’ (8-14, 5-4) victory over the Terriers. Huizar also drove in a run and scored twice.
Jesse Martinez went 2-for-4 with a run and two RBI for Fontana.

Carter 6, Eisenhower 0
Junior shorstop Jay Quemada went 4-for-4 with two RBI, two runs and two stolen bases to lead the Lions (14-8, 5-4) past the Eagles.
Juniors Jordan Williams and Tyler Spotville had two hits each with a double.
Senior right-hander Danny Bechtel scattered eight hits and struck out eight.

Miller 2, Rialto 1
The Rebels (5-12, 3-6) rallied for single runs in the fifth and sixth frames and Ricky Placencia stranded a runner in scoring position in four different innings against the Knights (13-7, 6-3).
Huan Sandoval had three hits for the Rebels while Abel Osuna doubled and tripled for Rialto.

MOJAVE RIVER LEAGUE
Sultana 6, Rim 0
Michael Mierish threw a four-hit shutout as the Sultans (14-5, 6-3) scored three runs in the fourth and fifth to defeat the Scots (6-12, 2-5).
Mierish fanned eight, scattered four singles and only allowed one runner to reach third. Ryan Wolf hit a solo homer, one of five hits for the winners.

MT. BALDY LEAGUE
Chaffey 7, Ontario 1
Richard Sanchez threw a complete game three-hitter throwing nine strikeouts for the Tigers.
Jose Guillen went 2-for-3 with three RBI and three runs scored for Chaffey.

Colony 9, Montclair 6
Steven Calley drove in four RBI, Peter Soria followed with three in the Titans’ (10-10, 7-3) victory over the Cavaliers.

SIERRA LEAGUE
Chino 7, Glendora 1
Taylor Fallon pitched a two-hitter, striking out seven and walking three to lead the visiting Cowboys (14-6, 6-4) to a rout of the Tartans. Fallon drove in two runs at the plate, while Kyle Nutter had two doubles and an RBI for Chino, which hosts Glendora on Friday.

Ayala 7, Chino Hills 1
Jack Schellin and Zach Patton each drove in three RBI for the Bulldogs (10-10, 3-7) over the Huskies. Schellin’s RBI came in the top of the seventh with his three run homer and Patton also scored twice for Ayala.

Damien 4, Diamond Bar 2
Ray Ortega delivered a three-run homer to cap a foour-run fifth inning rally for the Spartans (12-6, 5-5) against the Brahmas (9-9-1, 5-5).
Eric Lewis and Jorge Ortega had multiple hit games for the Spartans in supportof Nick Amerhain (7-1) while Nick Quincey had two hits for Diamond Bar.

SUNKIST LEAGUE
Kaiser 14, Summit 2
The Cats (14-5-1, 7-2) scored three runs in the first inning and never looked back, trouncing the SkyHawks.
Senior Frank Valenzuela went 3-for-3 with two RBI while junior catcher Malcolm Lee added two hits and a pair of RBI.
Junior left-hander Richard De Luna picked up the win. He went four innings and gave up just one hit, while striking out three.
